Sadie Amara Calvano hails from America and is best known for her role as actress Violet Plunkett, in CBS"sitting show Mom. Calvano is from California, and initially was intrigued by competitive gymnastics. She decided, later on to pursue a career path in acting. Her screen debut came in 2010 in a segment of CBS show "NCIS,". She made her big-screen debut within a year with the biographical film "J Edgar". Over the years she's established herself among the best young actresses within the field today. In 2011, she was nominated for a Young Artist Award in the category of Best Performance for Young Actresses between 11 and 15 for her role in NCIS. In 2013, Calvano was selected again to receive a Young Artist Award. This is for her role on the Disney XD show 'Kickin It'. Calvano was a key character in "Mom", the series the first three seasons of in addition to making appearances on several episodes of Season 4. In 2015, her performance in 'Mom" earned her the Gracie Allen Award as Outstanding Female Actor - Rising Star.
