Anna Gunn

Anna Gunn, an American actress. Anna Gunn is an American actor. She has also played Jean Ward in The Practice, and Martha Bullock in Deadwood. She was born in Sante Fe, New Mexico in 1968 Anna Gunn fell in love acting at the age of Preparatory School after her family relocated to Ohio towards the end of 1970. She spent a year at the British American Drama Academy and took classes in theatre as a student at Northwestern University. Anna worked in the theatre of the Chicago region for a couple of months before she tried her hand at acting in television as well as films. Anna had her biggest break in 1992 when she appeared as Arden for 29 seasons of Down the Shore. She continued to appear as an actor in few TV shows and movies, such as Seinfeld and NYPD Blue through the mid 90's. She was then cast in a regular role as Jean Ward in The Practice. Martha Bullock was her role in Deadwood during two complete seasons. She also starred in Breaking Bad as Skyler, in the year 2008. Sully, the Deadwood film as well as other films also featured her. Gunn appeared on stage to appear in David Schwimmer's Sex With Strangers. Gunn also appeared in the show the podcast Numbered Day consisting of four audio plays. Breaking Bad's story is often about the relationship of Walter White, his wife Skyler and their strained relationship. The tension in their relationship and the ending of it all are reminiscent of the end of Walter White's life.
